About

Hey, I'm Néo 👋

I'm a freelance web developer based in Eastern France. And I have ADHD.

For years, I thought I was just "like that" — unable to stick to a routine, zoning out in meetings, starting a thousand projects and finishing none. People kept telling me I was smart, so why did the simplest things feel impossibly hard?

Getting diagnosed changed everything. Not because it fixed anything overnight, but because it gave a name to what I'd been experiencing. And with that name came understanding — my brain isn't working against me, it just works differently.

Why Dopami Blog?

Dopami is a nod to dopamine — the molecule our ADHD brains are constantly chasing, the one that drives our motivation, our focus, our ability to start a task or clean an apartment.

This blog exists because when I got diagnosed, I looked for resources in French. I barely found any. Plenty of cold medical content, very little lived experience. Very little "here's what it actually feels like, and here's what actually helps."

Dopami Blog is the space I wish I'd found:

  • Practical strategies tested by someone actually living with ADHD
  • Clear explanations of how the ADHD brain works
  • Honest stories — the struggles and the wins
  • Tools and resources that actually make a difference

What you'll find here

I write about everything ADHD touches in daily life: productivity, routines, time management, relationships, mental health, and what it's like being a developer with a brain that refuses to cooperate some days.

Every article follows one rule: if it doesn't help me in real life, I don't publish it.

This blog is bilingual

All content is available in French and English. Because ADHD knows no borders, and French-language resources are seriously lacking.
